Exciting Happenings at LACAVA!

June and July are busy months at LACAVA. Father's Day is the 21st and we have some great gift ideas for Dad--Leather clad reading glasses by ICU. Golf paperweights. San Diego Hats. Screencraft's Fenway beverage coasters and of course, many antique and vintage items such as a classic fedora.

From 5 to 8 p.m. on June 26th, LACAVA will be open for downtown Biddeford's Artwalk. Lisa Muller-Jones' paintings are large iconic faces painted with acrylics on canvas. A visual and performance artist living in Saco, Lisa is also the owner of mojo graphic design and is a member of Mad Horse Theater Company, the C.I.A. (Comedy Improv Alliance) and the Stone Pinhead Ensemble. Light refreshments will be available.



We are thrilled to inform you that our good friend, Bonnie Killion, of Kilconn Creations & North Atlantic Leathers will be joining us on a part time basis in July. More information to follow.

May Art Walk

This Friday, May 29, from 5 to 8 p.m., Bonnie Killion will be our featured artist. Bonnie and her business partner, Tim Conn, comprise Kilconn Creations and North Atlantic Leathers. Their creative process includes beautifully handcrafted leather purses and handbags, jewelry, and refurbished and re-created antique furniture.

LACAVA is also offering a fun - new way to shop for our customers - FILL THE PURPLE BAG! For the month of June, come in and receive 20% off anything you can fit into one of our PURPLE BAGS. This Saturday, May 2, LACAVA is having a Trunk Show! From 12-4 p.m., Jodi Clayton of ONE LUPINE FIBER ARTS, will be exhibit her latest creations in scarves, ladies' blouses and jackets, shawls and table accessories, in fabulous spring and summer colors. Handcrafted with Merino wool and silk chiffon - each piece is a wearable work of art.

LACAVA also has new arrivals from San Diego Hat Company, Vervacious' gourmet foods, and colorful Galleria folding umbrellas. Have a baby shower coming up? Expectant Moms will love Bearington's adorable Lamby, Cottontail, and Lil' Peanut baby jackets.

A preview of some fun upcoming events...

Join us this Thursday, December 4, for Art Walk. Local artist Jim Cotsis will be showing his paintings, etchings and prints. His technique echos the works of the old masters. Light refreshments will be available. And be sure to look for the red balloons in front of other participating downtown establishments.
